Bordallo Pinheiro Deer Soup Tureen, 3 Liters

Description

Green and Brown Soup Tureen with a Deer

A spacious 3-liter soup tureen featuring the king of the forest: the deer. The tureen consists of a large green bowl with brown handles and a green lid. The striking geometric decorations arranged all around are enhanced by leaves and grape clusters both on the bottom and top. The lid is further enlivened by the deer’s snout in relief—which serves as the knob—and its majestic body with antlers, all enclosed within an oval space at the center, as if it were a window through which to glimpse the inhabitants of the forest. The entire Woods collection embodies the elegance of Portuguese craftsmanship and reflects the colors of the forest—the green typical of plants and the brown of the animals that inhabit it. The glossy finish accentuates the details of each wood grain, giving it a realistic appearance. A play of subtle shades ensures that no two pieces are ever identical, highlighting the extraordinary craftsmanship of Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics.
