Bordallo Pinheiro Red Strawberry-Shaped Soup Tureen, 4 Liters

Description

Green and Red Strawberry-Shaped Soup Tureen

A spacious 4-liter soup tureen that can be used for both soups and fruit. The tureen consists of two parts: - a large red container shaped like a ripe strawberry. It features an inverted cone shape, rounded and bulging at the top, which gradually tapers toward a flat, stable base. The surface is not smooth but features small raised and recessed areas typical of the fruit. The red surface is dotted with dozens of tiny, pinpoint-like indentations that mimic the presence of strawberry seeds .—the lid, shaped like the fruit’s green leaves, with a small cylindrical stem in the center that serves as a handle for lifting. Each leaf features well-defined raised veins, with a play of light and shadow that enhances the realism. The entire Strawberries collection embodies the elegance of Portuguese craftsmanship and reflects the colors of the strawberry—green and red. The glossy finish accentuates the details of each vein, giving it a realistic appearance. A play of subtle shades ensures that no two pieces are ever identical, highlighting the extraordinary craftsmanship of Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics.
