The STILE rectangular tray by Pininfarina is one of the most iconic pieces resulting from the collaboration between Mepra and Pininfarina, two companies that have made Italian quality and aesthetics a global benchmark. The tray measures 46×30 cm and is made entirely of 18/10 stainless steel, a material chosen for its resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and daily cleaning—even in professional settings. The low profile, rounded edges, and mirror-like surface are the result of a design that places simplicity at its core: no superfluous elements, just the form that is needed. This very simplicity makes it versatile in both the kitchen and the dining room, suitable for serving cheeses, appetizers, desserts, or as a base for display arrangements.

Customization with PVD Technology

The standard version comes with a polished stainless steel finish, but Mepra offers the option to order the tray in 3 surface finishes (Mirror Polish, Matte Satin Ice, Vintage Stonewashed Pewter) and in 7 colors (Natural Steel, Gold, Black Gold, Champagne, Bronze, Rainbow, Silver-Plated with Sterling Silver Plating).

The colors are applied using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology, a physical vapor deposition process in a vacuum chamber originally developed for the aerospace industry. It ensures permanent adhesion of the coating: no peeling over time, no color fading even with intensive use. For the Silver-Plated version, the piece is plated with a layer of Sterling Silver, for an even more refined visual finish.
