18/10 stainless steel: the choice of quality

The body is made of 18/10 stainless steel, the grade most commonly used in professional kitchens due to its intrinsic properties: corrosion resistance, food-safe properties, ease of cleaning, and the ability to maintain its finish over time even with intensive use. The inner wall features engraved volume markings for easy measurement during preparation—a detail that isn’t always found in products in this category and that significantly simplifies kitchen work.

Multi-layer base: even heat distribution without hot spots

The extra-thick base is the technical heart of the Pentola Alta Stile. Its construction ensures uniform heat distribution across the entire cooking surface, extending all the way to the very edge of the pot, eliminating the cold spots at the edges and hot spots in the center that characterize lower-quality pots. Heat is retained longer even after the pot is removed from the heat, a quality particularly useful for slow-cooking dishes such as soups, meat stocks, and stews. The profile of the lower rim is designed not to scratch induction and ceramic cooktops.
