32 cm Pininfarina Tray for Mepra

The Tray That Brings Pininfarina Design to the Table

When Mepra chose Pininfarina as its creative partner for the Stile collection, the result was bound to be an object capable of taking center stage at the table. The round Stile tray is the most direct expression of this collaboration: a pure circular shape, a thin vertical rim defining its perimeter, and a mirror-like surface that reflects everything around it. Essential, versatile, powerful, luxurious.

18/10 Stainless Steel: The Raw Material Matters

The tray is crafted from 18/10 stainless steel, the gold standard in high-end professional production. The designation “18/10” indicates the percentage of chromium and nickel in the steel: two elements that, together, provide corrosion resistance, ease of cleaning, and a luster that lasts over time. The 32 cm diameter offers a generous serving surface, suitable for entire courses, bottles accompanied by glasses, cocktail sets, or breakfast table settings in the room.

Three Finishes, Seven Colors, One Lifetime Warranty

The standard version features a mirror-like polished finish that is, in itself, a statement of intent. But the Stile collection allows you to customize the tray by choosing from three distinct surface finishes:

The Lucido finish is the starting point, brilliant and reflective like an architectural element. Ice is a brushed matte finish with a more understated character, ideal for contemporary spaces where natural light takes center stage. Peltro introduces a vintage, stonewashed texture—darker and more textured—perfect for settings seeking warmth and visual depth.

In addition to these finishes, there are seven colors applied using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology—the same technique developed for the aerospace industry and used to coat space shuttle panels: Natural Stainless Steel, Gold, Black Gold (titanium black), Champagne, Bronze (bronze/copper), Rainbow, and Silver. The latter, in particular, features a Sterling Silver plating, which elevates the tray to an even higher level of sophistication. All PVD colors come with a lifetime guarantee against peeling—this is no minor detail, as it reassures even those who buy for the long term.

Designed for Professional Use, Perfect for the Home Too

The Stile collection stems from a design approach centered on real-world use: ergonomics, safety, and functionality are integral parts of the design. This means the tray is balanced for one-handed carrying, the raised rim provides the stability needed when serving on the move, and the interior surface doesn’t retain residue or require special cleaning products. It’s used by the best Italian hotels and restaurants. It also looks great on a living room table, on a bar cart, or as a decorative element in a stylish entryway.
