Porcelain Soup Bowl 

A 28-cm porcelain soup plate, perfect for soups or pasta, featuring an elegant design that combines colorful geometric patterns with classic details. The plate has a classic circular shape with a wide outer rim and a deeper center, typical of soup plates. The outer rim and the line separating the rim from the bowl are finished with a thin gold trim that adds luster and sophistication. The rim stands out for its green geometric pattern composed of hexagonal shapes. The application of color and the lines are not uniform but intentionally highlight the unique character of hand-painting; no two plates will ever be exactly alike. The central part of the plate is predominantly white, smooth, and glossy, creating a strong contrast with the richness of the rim. However, at the top of this inner section, a small and refined gold decorative detail stands out: two birds resembling ostriches depicted in profile, facing each other, and a small eight-pointed star positioned between the two animals. This soup plate is part of the Amazónia collection, inspired by the book *Viagens Philosophicas* (Philosophical Journeys) by naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as the fauna, flora, and peoples of today’s Amazon. Developed in collaboration with Ecoarts Amazōnia, this collection brings together for the first time all the group’s brands (namely Vista Alegre, Casa Alegre, and Bordallo Pinheiro). A portion of the proceeds from the collection will go toward reforestation in the Amazonian region of Mato Grosso through the planting of native fruit trees, thereby helping to preserve an environmental, cultural, social, and scientific heritage that is fundamental to the future of humanity. The entire Amazónia collection from the prestigious Vista Alegre brand has already won five international design awards: an IDA Design Award—Gold Winner 2019, a European Product Design Award—Silver Prize Winner, a Good Design Award, and a German Design Award 2020.

• Dishwasher: Short cycles at low temperatures are recommended. Avoid frequent use in the dishwasher to prevent damage to the gold finishes.
