A glossy ceramic
plate measuring 38 cm x 36 cm and 5.5 cm high, perfect for pairing with the rest of the Tomato collection to create a table setting with character. This appetizer plate features an original and vibrant design, clearly inspired by the shape of a ripe tomato viewed from above.
The plate has a circular shape with the rounded peaks and valleys typical of this vegetable. The glaze is a bright, vibrant, and uniform red.
In the center is a raised section—also circular and indented—designed to hold sauces (such as mayonnaise, guacamole, or hot sauce) or small appetizers. The distinctive feature of this central section lies in its decorative details: there are green-painted elements that mimic the sepals of a tomato’s calyx, creating a pleasing color contrast with the rest of the red surface.
The surrounding space, between the outer rim and the central well, serves as the main serving tray and is ideal for arranging chips, nachos, sweet-and-sour vegetables, or vegetables for dipping. The

Instructions for Use

• Microwave: All products are microwave-safe for reheating, except for those containing wooden, metal, and/or glass accessories; never place them in the microwave when empty. Always use a pot holder or oven mitt when removing terracotta items from the microwave.
• Dishwasher: These products are dishwasher-safe; however, do not leave them in the dishwasher once the wash cycle is complete.
• Conventional oven: Use is not recommended.
• Freezer: Use is not recommended.
• Thermal Shock Resistance: Bordallo Pinheiro products are not resistant to sudden thermal shocks.

"Craquelé"

The “craquelé” effect is a natural characteristic of the product, resulting from age and use.
Care instructions
: – Store the pieces in a dry place;
– Do not leave the pieces submerged in water for long periods;
– Do not subject the pieces to sudden temperature changes, especially large temperature fluctuations. Hot items may break if placed on very cold, wet surfaces or handled with wet cloths;
– Avoid leaving items in the dishwasher after the wash cycle has ended to prevent the surface from being damaged by the steam generated.
