The bowl has a flared, circular shape with a diameter of 12.5 cm and a height of 3.7 cm, making it perfect for use as an oil bowl for pinzimonio or sauces. A bowl from the Olival collection, crafted from white ceramic with a glossy finish. Its most distinctive feature is the raised decoration on the right-hand rim of the bowl, depicting a small olive branch with green leaves and a few olives in shades of green and reddish-brown. The entire Olival collection is inspired by the olive tree and the Alentejo landscape. The range is distinguished by the white finish of its pieces, the reliefs and the hand-painted motifs, which reproduce the textures of the trunk, the branches and the olives at various stages of ripeness. Olival is a tribute to Portuguese craftsmanship and a true aesthetic and sensory experience, created by Bordallo Pinheiro and Esporão.

Instructions for use

• Microwave: All products are suitable for use in the microwave for reheating, with the exception of those containing wooden, metal and/or glass accessories; never place them in the microwave when empty. Always use a pot holder or oven glove when removing terracotta items from the microwave.
• Dishwasher: These products are dishwasher-safe; however, they must not be left in the dishwasher once the wash cycle has finished.
• Conventional oven: Use is not recommended.
• Freezer: Use is not recommended.
• Thermal shock resistance: ‘Bordallo Pinheiro’ products are not resistant to sudden thermal shocks.

"Craquelé"

The ‘craquelé’ effect is a natural characteristic of the product, resulting from ageing and use. Care instructions: - Store the items in a dry place; - Do not leave the items submerged in water for long periods; - Do not subject the pieces to sudden changes in temperature, particularly large temperature fluctuations. Hot items may break if placed on very cold, wet surfaces or handled with wet cloths; - Avoid leaving items in the dishwasher once the wash cycle has finished to prevent the surface from being damaged by the steam produced.
