Zafferano conceived this rechargeable Push-Up Lampe à Porter table lamp as a light source but also—and perhaps above all—as a piece of furniture. The cylindrical body in painted die-cast aluminum, with its refined dark gray finish, possesses the compactness and presence of a minimalist sculpture: it rests on a surface and occupies the space with absolute discretion, yet draws the eye with that subtle line of light that separates the base from the shade when the light is on.

A discreet control, hidden beneath the base

The Push-Up does not reveal its controls. The touch dimmer is concealed beneath the base, a design choice that speaks volumes about the Zafferano philosophy: nothing must disturb the purity of form. With a simple press, you can adjust the light intensity, switch the light temperature between three presets of varying warmth, and turn it off without haste. The lamp remembers the last intensity setting, but always starts at maximum brightness each time it is switched on.

Cord-free, free in space

The Push-Up was designed to be moved around. Wireless, with up to 11–12 hours of battery life at maximum power, it accompanies a dinner on the terrace, moves to a nightstand, illuminates a reading nook, or decorates the center of a carefully set table. Charging is done via a contact base, included in the package, and an LED indicator system shows the battery status at all times, preventing overcharging or unexpected interruptions. The lithium battery is also replaceable, a guarantee of longevity that is not a given in this product category.

For indoor and outdoor use

What truly sets the Push-Up apart from many other portable lamps is its IP54 rating: protected against dust and water splashes, it can be used outdoors without worry.
