Copper is one of the most beloved materials in contemporary design, and Zafferano’s Pina Foglia Rame captures its essence convincingly. The copper-colored metallic leaf finish, applied entirely by hand over a white RAL 9003 base and protected by a clear varnish, possesses that organic, tactile quality that industrial surfaces cannot replicate. Each piece is unique: the distribution of the leaf, the reflections, and the surface texture vary slightly from unit to unit, making every lamp a one-of-a-kind piece in every sense.
The rosy-copper tone of the finish works particularly well with natural materials, dark wood, veined marble, limestone, and glazed ceramics in earthy tones. It is a lamp that fits effortlessly into spaces that blend different stylistic influences without losing coherence.
Beneath the handcrafted surface lies all the technology of the Pina collection: three selectable color temperatures (2200K, 2700K, 3000K), a touch dimmer with continuous intensity control, a replaceable Li-ion battery, and IP54 protection. As with the other metallic leaf versions, this finish is primarily designed for indoor use, where the delicate surface finish is preserved over time. For cleaning, we recommend using only a soft, dry cloth.
