Zafferano has equipped the Pina with a feature that is still rare in portable lamps in this price range: the ability to choose between 2200K, 2700K, and 3000K. This isn’t just a technical detail; it’s a difference you can see and feel. The 2200K light is warm, almost amber, perfect for dinner or a cozy evening atmosphere. Moving up to 2700K yields a more neutral yet still welcoming light, ideal for reading or working. The 3000K setting, on the other hand, provides a sharper, more contemporary light, the kind found in the finest commercial spaces. All of this is adjusted with a simple long press on the touch dimmer at the base—no app, no remote control required.

The die-cast aluminum structure, finished in matte black, is both sturdy and lightweight. The base, which tapers slightly upward, vaguely resembles the shapes of certain Japanese kitchen utensils or certain Brutalist ceramics, depending on how you look at it. The polycarbonate diffuser in the conical head distributes light downward with a 44.5° beam, concentrated enough to create a defined cone of light without being cold or harsh.

Its IP54 rating makes it suitable for outdoor use as well—on a terrace, in the garden, or on a patio—provided you do not place the charging base outdoors, as it retains an IP20 rating. The lithium battery is user-replaceable, a detail that, in the long run, distinguishes a disposable product from an item that lasts for years. The LD2650D3 model does not include the plug-in charger, which can be purchased separately; the LD1650D3 model, however, includes it in the package.

The Pina can also be customized with optional accessories: a floor stand and a ceramic tray, both available separately, which further transform how it is used and displayed.
