There is something immediate about Zafferano’s Poldina PRO. You look at it and immediately realize that this is no ordinary lamp: the RAL 3000 red is crisp, bold, almost provocative on such a classic form. Square base, slender stem, conical shade—a silhouette reminiscent of classic table lamps, but reinterpreted in a contemporary style and with no visible wires.
The lamp runs on a rechargeable lithium battery, with a runtime of approximately 12 hours at maximum brightness and a charging time of 6–7 hours via the included contact base. The touch control located on the head allows you to turn the lamp on and off and adjust the brightness with a simple touch. Pressing for 4 seconds accesses the color temperature selection between 2200K, 2700K, and 3000K—from warm, ambient light to a whiter, more functional light.
The body is made of painted die-cast aluminum, and the diffuser is made of polycarbonate. With an IP65 rating (lamp without base), the Poldina PRO can also be used outdoors without any issues, on a garden table, on a terrace, or anywhere a light source is needed without nearby outlets.
It has a power rating of 2.2W with a luminous flux of up to 256 lm and a beam angle of 45°. The electronic system monitors the remaining charge: the flashing red LED indicates when the charge is below 20%, and the steady green LED when the battery is at 100%. A special note about the charging base: it is very convenient and works just like a cordless phone charging base. Simply place the lamp on its base and charging begins.
