Alessandra Baldereschi

Born in Milan in 1975, she continued her early artistic studies by successfully attending the Domus Academy in Milan, one of the best design schools in the world with a cosmopolitan spirit. She developed her material research in Japan, in the Gifu district, the homeland of Japanese ceramics, collaborating with several local companies and becoming familiar with production techniques and material characteristics.

As early as 2003, some of her works were selected to represent the Young European Designers at the Seoul Design Festival. In 2004, the Bosco collection of forest foliage-inspired seats was exhibited at the Dilmos gallery, with which she would collaborate for a long time, designing pieces such as the Robin table and the arched mirror collection Reflective Wood. In 2007, she was selected to exhibit at The New Italian Design at the Triennale di Milano, an exhibition illustrating the evolution of Italian design from past to future. In the same year, the Soufflè armchair line was presented at Made in Design in Shanghai, one of the world’s most prestigious design fairs. The beautiful Helix corkscrew starred in New York and Turin in 2008, and so on.

Prestigious collaborations with museums such as Poldi Pezzoli, which in 2012 exhibited her candle collection Adele and Anita, and companies including Poem, Ichendorf, Coin Casa, Multiforme, Fabbian, Devecchi, Thun, Seletti and many others.

Countless recognitions from the international press: Living Corriere in 2018, Interior Russia in 2020, Marie Claire Maison Japan, Elle Decor in 2018, Architectural Digest Italy and Spain, the New York Times, etc.

Now iconic are the glasses, pitchers, goblets, bottles, tumblers in borosilicate glass from the Animal Farm, Desert Plant, Botanica, Coral Reef, Dogs, Fruits And Flowers, Garden Pic Nic, GreenWood, Marine Garden, Memories, Sogni D'oriente, Tabby Cat, and Vegetables collections, which include teapots, mugs, sugar bowls, spoons, beautiful oil cruets, cake stands, and the line inspired by Alice’s colorful mushrooms.

An uncontainable creativity that has produced memorable pieces for the home, the table, and home décor in general.
