The production at KVĚTNÁ is based on the use of first-quality enamels without lead, impeccable craftsmanship, and designs that combine modernity and tradition. The glassworks adopts modern technologies where they contribute to achieving the highest possible quality while preserving the artisan tradition and the uniqueness of manual work. KVĚTNÁ’s goal is not to produce as many products as possible. Therefore, it focuses on smaller, unique design collections, collaborating with leading Czech and international designers.
The KVĚTNÁ glassworks, founded in 1794 by Prince Alois I of Liechtenstein, is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic. Originally specialized in utilitarian glass and glass sheets, it experienced significant growth in the mid-19th century under the ownership of the Zahn family, who introduced high-quality crystal production decorated with cutting and engraving, gaining worldwide fame.
